Booking conditions

Bookings are made with GIE Tsingy Rouge, NIF 5002759622, operating on the Sahafary plateau in the DIANA region of Madagascar. Guides, drivers and cooks are employed directly by the association.

A deposit of 30% confirms a booking. The balance is payable on arrival in ariary or euros, or online at any time before the departure date.

Prices are set in ariary. Amounts shown in other currencies are indicative conversions and may differ slightly from what your bank charges.

You may change your dates once free of charge up to seven days before departure, subject to availability. Cancellations more than fourteen days before departure are refunded in full; between fourteen and seven days, the deposit is retained; inside seven days, no refund is due.

If we cancel (weather, an impassable ford, or a vehicle failure) you are refunded in full or moved to another date, whichever you prefer.

Guides may shorten or reroute a walk for safety. Climbing on, leaning against or removing material from the formations is not permitted: they are compacted sediment and do not recover.

Drone flights require the flight-window add-on and stay within the marked corridor.

Third-party liability cover applies to the guided part of your day. It is not travel or medical insurance; you are expected to hold your own, including evacuation cover, which is worth checking before you leave home.

The nearest hospital is in Antsiranana, two hours away.

This site is a demonstration build. Bookings are stored in your own browser, no email is sent, and no payment is taken by any means, including the mobile money and card flows.
